“You know its probably because they used to hate each other so much. Now that the curse was broken that burning hate turned into passionate love.” Roland proposed as an explanation for this repulsive behavior.
“This-just no!” I pulled out my wand. Enough of this!
My magic forced them apart.
Serenity smiled at the sight of me casting magic.
I felt the full moon rise in the sky. It was already late.
“I’ve had enough of this crap! I’m going home! For good! I don’t care if I lose my sight at this point, I’ll just deal with the stupid addiction!” I raged. Two years of being in this god forbidden house, and this has made me lose control. I don’t want to be near this stupid crap!
“Take us home!” I ordered a dazed Aunt Anna. I grabbed her hand and Roland’s.
A bright white flash surrounded us.
Next thing I knew, I was finally back home.
“What the hell was that?? Kissing Roland’s dad?? What’s wrong with you and what the hell were you doing over there?” I yelled.
“Millie darling, I came to get you. I don’t know what came over me!” Aunt Anna defended.
“God! Why didn’t you come sooner then?” Can’t believe I just said that!
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Did you say something about your sight?”
“Yes! The man you just made out with, when he gave me my sight he made me frickin’ addicted to it!” I yelled, still mad.
Aunt Anna floated and threw fairy dust in my eyes, which completely caught me off guard.
“There, I can’t make a sight spell but I can tweak one. The addiction part of the spell is gone and Jeremy can no longer control your sight. The only way you would lose it again is if he dies.” Aunt Anna smiled. My rage died down. Its hard for me to stay mad.
“Is it a normal thing to see my mother’s ghost wandering around?”
“Pretty much.” Aunt Anna replied.
“Millie?” Clarice asked as she rounded the corner. I didn’t know Clarice still lived here! It would seem Keena moved out.
“Its so good to see you!” Clarice hugged me as tightly as she could. To be honest Clarice and I had never been very close as sisters. We were more two people living under the same roof. Actually I had never really bonded with my siblings. Christopher hated supernaturals like me, Keena and Clarice always hung out and Felicia was a loner. Maybe this time I can build an actual sisterly bond.
“Come meet my daughter Serenity.” I said.
“Oh she is very cute!” Clarice said as Roland handed her over.
I walked over to the ghost of my mother.
“Is it really her?” I asked.
“Yes, but she is simply a ghost, a shadow if you will.” The ghost opened its mouth but no words came out. It seemed as if the ghost was having a totally normal conversation. “Ghosts simply replay past experiences. Your mother herself doesn’t exist anymore.” Aunt Anna said.
I walked back to them. “Will Roland’s d- I mean Jeremy come after us? I mean, he was really insistent before about me giving birth to a fairy child.” I said, carefully avoiding the fact that they MADE OUT. It wouldn’t do to get angry for too long.
“I don’t think my dad will. For the few months I was with him he seemed really weird. I don’t think he cares much about tradition anymore, not when he’s finally broken the curse.” Roland explained.
“Are you sure it’s okay if we stay?” I asked.
“Of course, stay as long as you want. You can have your mother’s old room, and your little girl can have Christopher’s old room.” Aunt Anna replied.
“I was just wondering. What happened to Christopher?”
“We let him go. His wife gave birth to a human baby, and even if Christopher would try to kill Clarice we have her protected. He isn’t strong enough anymore.” Aunt Anna answered.
“Did you hear that? This is your new home!” Clarice said. Serenity giggled.
*slightly disappointed that Anna and Roland’s father didn’t actually end up together* Hahaha…
I love Clarice’s look!
Oh so ROland’s father’s name is Jeremy. Didn’t register until now.
Love the cuteness of seeing Clarice with Serenity. 🙂

Yeah, I really juggled with the idea and well…let’s just say I was still juggling with it chapters away.
Lol, I think it was at that chapter that I realized I hadn’t officially named him.

Glad she’s reunited with her family, but I’m a little upset about Christopher being let go. He murdered people. Doesn’t sit right with me at all. Also don’t think it’s likely that Roland’s dad won’t come after them….hmmm…..

Your comments, particularly this one, really remind me of how many plotholes I left in my first generations XD
Ahhh but at least that knows I got better at closing those up!
