It was completed.
“The birth is done.” A deep throated man said.
“Rest friend, you’ve brought something amazing to this world.”
“It’s eyes were…is that normal? Doesn’t it seem a bit…contradictory?” She asked.
“Not at all.” The man replied.
Just as Angel came in I got up from my seat and spouted my question. It had become a daily routine for me.
“Did anything happen? Is he back yet?”
“Balthier is still in a coma. Hopefully he’ll wake up soon.” Angel told me.
“You still know as much as I do for Cain.” I hated when she said those words.
“It’s been days! I’m done with this! I’m going to look for him myself!” I burst out. I’d had enough! He’d been gone too long.
“The police will handle it Irene! We told them about it and they are searching!”
“For all we know they could be with the enemies!” I yelled back.
“First off, Cain’s uncle is in the police force(a quick reminder that I’m talking about Nathan, Balthier’s brother), and second off, you have two kids to take care of. You can’t go running off looking for your husband!”
“I just want him back…” I choked out.
“I know Irene, so do I.” Angel said bringing me into a hug. Tears flowed unwillingly, and I cursed myself for letting him go.
I woke up to complete darkness.
I was blindfolded.
I tried moving my arms and legs but they were both tied tightly.
I had a horrible headache, a growling stomach and dried lips.
With my fingers I felt the smooth ground and the rock wall I was leaned against.
Where was I?
I decided to use my sensing ability to see if there was anyone close. After a few seconds of concentrating I felt the aura of someone else. Someone that was really close…
My chin was suddenly grabbed and water was poured over my mouth making me cough in surprise.
“Drink fool.” The person said. It was a woman. But it wasn’t the woman with the scar, the voice wasn’t the same. I drank the water. When I was done, before I could speak she shoved bread and a piece of chicken in my mouth.
“There we go. Don’t you feel better now?” She asked.
“Sure. Where am I?” I asked. She laughed.
I tried again. “Why did you kidnap me?” She laughed again.
“What is the point of all this? Why are you all going so far? I’m not even helpful in killing supernaturals! You don’t make any sense!”
She chuckled and placed her hand on my head. I resisted the urge to move out of her way.
“We would’ve contented ourselves with killing your supernatural family members, but then you went and said you had a white-eyed.” She maliciously whispered in my ear. Her hand left my head and I could hear her stand up.
“Don’t worry, we just have to confirm it worked and then you’ll be back with your dumb supernatural loving little family…well what’s left of it.” She said, cackling before she left the room.
Ok, just wanted to make you realize that in the house, currently, there is only; Irene, Angel, Clarice, Sariel, Max and a bunch of ghosts.
You know, I’m just saying it like that…
