Think on it

This is unrelated to the story, this a personal rant. Feel free to completely ignore this.

The less you use, the less you buy, the less someone sells it, the slower their shelves empty, the more time it takes for them to order new things, the lesser orders the industry receives the lesser ressources are used up, the less living beings suffer, the less ecosystems die, and the more we lengthen our planet’s lifespan.

This works for everything: food, clothes, toys, Tools, electricity, water, cars, drugs, makeup, construction, airplanes, trains, hairspray, deodorant, beds, pillows, couches, air conditioning, heating, alcohol, cooking, restaurants, wars, hunting, paper, school, smoking, etc.

I’m no saying we should stop using these things, but there are a good few which we can reduce our use, and by doing so we can activate an effective butterfly effect.

Let us limit the forests we destroy, the animals we kill, the lungs we contaminate. We are a breath away from exterminating a vibrant living ecosystem of which we are a part of.

What is the currency’s role in this?
It has none. It is an illusion we created to impose a sense of dominance and superiority. To differentiate the ones who should prosper and those who should not. The poor are weak, they do not have important roles in the society.
Animals have no money and they aren’t human, they are the lowest of the living who shouldn’t be able to glimpse at the idea of dominance.
THAT is currency.
It is what drives our greedy souls to snuff out the weak and strangle them out of existence. We are a race that sits upon our imaginary thrones and step on other beings.  We are parasites feeding off the earth with plans to infest another earth-like host once our current one dies.
What are we? We are humans.
