We retreated back the junkyard after the science center. Angel headed straight for the kitchen, for a reason that still has yet to reveal itself. Laura however decided to talk to me.
“Balthier, I just wanted to let you know how I really appreciate you helping me out.”
“It’s no problem at all!” I got a free kiss XD.
“No, I really appreciate it.” She said as she got closer. Goodness is what I think is about to happen about to happen?
“Wait, what about that possible boyfriend of yours?” I asked suddenly feeling a bit nervous.
“I don’t see him anywhere.” She smiled. Well I guess that’s good enough for me.
Angel’s POV
I’m a ghost.
And ghosts can’t do stuff like that.

What is this? Yet another short chapter….XD Oh Angel, Oh Balthier, Oh Laura, I don’t know who to feel the most pity for!

Awwww… I feel bad for Angel. But then I’m happy for Balthier even though Laura has way too many secrets and mystery behind her to really win me over just yet.

Well, looks like that cat’s out of the picture, but there’s certainly plenty to still be concerned about. I wonder if Angel is mourning the fact that she feels unable to be with Balthier, or the fact that she can’t envision herself being with anyone because of her status of being neither here nor there. Either one seems likely. Poor thing 😦
Also curious what exactly it was that Laura was cured of….*ponders*
